We are a small organic farm who saw a need to produce and distribute local black garlic. We originally set out to process local Black Garlic not only for its nutritional and health benefits but also for enabling good environmental stewardship and lessening the carbon footprint.
With the Carrot Cache grant we received, we were able to buy a new tiller to clear more land for increased garlic production, and purchase additional equipment to scale up production, bulk up on labels, bottles, and jars. Currently, our in-house line of garlic products include preserved black garlic, a black garlic gourmet dressing, black garlic mustard, and black garlic powder.
We have grown as a business and have been selling our vegetable produce and value-added garlic products at local farmers’ markets, through a community shared agriculture (CSA), and social media. Â
